Why be a shovel when you can be a bulldozer.
The ultimate collab? Humans and machine learning.
Keeping it personal can lead to

Bonnie and Clyde, Jordan and Pippen, Peanut Butter and Jelly.
All historic collaborations who elevated each other to the next level. Well maybe not peanut butter and jelly but that depends on who your asking.
Machine learning, also known as Artificial Intelligence, should not be looked at as something that will replace humans but rather something that can enhance human performance. The amount of information and speed that AI can process information at is not something that humans were built to do. Whereas the innate human emotions and feelings are not something that machines were built to have.
“Rather than replacing human decision making, machine learning and complex algorithms could help people amplify their intelligence and deal with problems on a much larger scale, something like giving a bulldozer to people used to digging with a shovel.”

Team work makes the dream work.
When you look at AI as simply a computer that can process mass amounts of information quickly, the opportunities are exciting for humans. This adds a predictive layer to business where companies can make accurate predictions from all encompassing information, not just the information that humans are capable of processing.
To date no computer has been able to pass the Turing Test, meaning there is no machine that can think and react exactly like a human would. This is why human collaboration with machine is vital and necessary. Both sides bring something to the table that the other is lacking.
